  real estate guy called ... he is supposed to get a written offer on that house i've had for sale since oct 07.. i cut the price a bit.

  i hope this offer is close.

  we have a drop dead price... but i really dont want to give the farm away.

  watchtowers at my threrapist's office

  when i go to my threrapist's office, while waiting in the waiting room, i look for wts and awakes.

  when i find them i write on them a website either this one or silent lambs or i just write "this group is a cult" across the front of it.. one visit i found like 12 wts.

  i didn't have time to scribble a note on all of them before my therapist called me in.. well this week.

  did you post any experinces about what they taught at gilead and any details on how you woke up?

  i find this interesting since i would think that by the time a witness made it to gilead, they would be so indoctronated that they could teach that our savior is actually a horse named sally that was ridden by ted jaracz when he was a kid and they would buy it.

  im thinking about my mother today.

  shes been in the truth for over 30 years now baptized in her mid 20s.

  she had been faithful the whole time despite being married to a severe alcoholic (my father only studied) for 27 years.

  for me, it's having friends that i don't have to hide my lack of meeting attendance/service from.

  it's amazing how they teach you that only jws can be your real friends, but in reality, it's all contingent upon your religious "performance.

  " sure, if you're not going to meetings, they'll try to be "friends," by encouraging you to go back.

  I could never name just one thing...I love it all! I have never ever regretted my decision to leave and the more time goes by, the more I am sure I made the right decision! In fact, the only good thing I can think of with regards to the ORG is my brother is still in it and I love and miss him.

  a bethelite's viewpoint on the recent organization changesto me the most obvious reason has nothing to do with control, or money.

  it has everything to do with the serious shortage of qualified brothers who can (or who are willing to) be used.

  Nice post Pseattle2. I do hope this is the situation. WE all know it here, but I am unsure if those in the org are actually aware.

  In my mind, I would love this to be the case and I am hoping others see the light as well!

  i'm new so thought i'd say hi.

  been thinking about the witnesses alot lately and have a had a good search online and found this place.. was born into the ahem 'truth' and left when i was 17, baptized at twelve i think.

  i couldnt answer something covered in the baptism questions and all 3 elders who did my questions mentioned that this was their only doubt.

  1 Dead, Passenger Train Quarantined - Canada

  this one is interesting .... http://www.thestar.com/news/ontario/article/423330.

  a passsenger train carrying 234 people is stopped in northern ontario and quarantined after one person became ill and died.

  ten others are hospitalized with flu-like symptoms.. hazmat and cbrne teams are on site.
